Sri Lanka Environment Exploration Society organized a two day residential training programme on bio diversity in the Knuckles Conservation Forest on 8th-9th of June 2019 at Illukkumbura. Young individuals from beneficiary communities and project staff of the projects working in the Knuckles landscape participated to this workshop. The programme was carried out by Herpetefoaunal Foundation under the guidance of Mr. Mendis WIckermasinghe. The programme consisted of practical sessions such as identification of mammals, birds, fish, reptiles and amphibians etc.
